On September 25, my parents, the owners of Entry Systems, and I participated in the Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure in Newport Beach. Together we raised $1,000 and as a team we raised over $10,000 collectively to pay for breast cancer research and mammograms for women in the Orange County area.In honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, Entry Systems decided to donate a portion of each service call during the month of October to the Susan G. Komen Foundation.
The 5K provided an amazing experience to be among the thousands of people that contributed in the nationwide fundraising of over 3 million dollars and Entry Systems hopes to create its own team for next year's event!
